SSBB

Well DK's "Final Smash" was announced this morning on the Brawl website. Now there is the pressing matter of the vote on who should be in SSBB. Tomorrow night at 11:59ET, 10:59CT the vote for July has ended and I will work on the total vote numbers. But here is the wild thing; we have had NO questions or comments for our Q&A&C section on the 1st.

Knuckle Joe

Apparently a new Brawler has been announced. Knuckle Joe, who I have never heard of before, is in Brawl I guess as a Assist Trophy... Click on the title to be transfered to the SSBB website.

Been a Long Time

Hey y'all, it's ya fave, Englando. I apologize for not posting in a long time, but I am back in action. First off I would like to congratulate Venus Williams for winning Wimbledon for the fourth time. She beat surprise finalist Marion Bartoli 6-4, 6-1. I was so happy for her. Next the US Open Series. Anyways, time for VG chat. First off I would like to say that I will be getting a Wii. I'm doing this because I found out they would be making Mario Kart for the system. I will also be getting SSB Brawl. I would like to say that I would love to see Birdo in there. She's been quite popular (wink, wink). Wait there's more, I would like to say that my summer is going well and I hope yours is too, but I only have a month left. Lastly I would like to thank everyone for not posting negative and outrageous comments lately, finally we get some stability around here. Anyways, thanks for reading and peace.

I would just like to ask everyone to either comment on this post or email me at steakvgd@yahoo.com to say who you would most like to be in SSBB. And after every month I will tally up the total for each character. Let me note that neither I or any of my colleagues will participate in this. Thank you and if any new characters are announced on smashbros.com are announced I will tell you right when I read it(I check it most mornings around 11 or so). By the way, DK was just officially announced a little while ago.

WOOOOOO!!!! E3!

Well its time for E3 one again. Time has just raced by us, huh? Well it's about to race again, in Mario Kart Wii! Note that the title is not official yet. Well Nintendo has announced that it should be out by Q1(first 3 months of the year) 2008, and has also said that it will have more racers than ever before. Look on the website nintendoworldreport.com for more info on the Nintendo part of E3.

Mario Party 8 and DS

You know, Mario Party would fit perfectly on the DS. http://mariopartyds.com/ is a website dedicated to a Mario Party for DS. Now for OTHER news.

I purchased Mario Party 8 for the Wii! YAY! The 4th game I have now for the Wii. It really is a great game but it does get old fast. The Orbs from other Mario Party games are replaced with Candy, a bit weird. The biggest problem I found with this game is that after a while my arm started to hurt, so if you play any kind of sport that you use your hands don't play this game for more than like 3 hours. I like the game but it is about the same game as #1 but with practice and better graphics(not much though). The Mini-Games in Mario Party 8 are kind of new. Most use the Wii remote quite a bit but some are just Hold-It-Sideways-And-Press-2-To-Jump kind of games. I give it an 8/10. The only reason I don't give it a 10 is because the Mini-Games are hard to do sometimes. Like in a rowing game, I was stuck with a Computer Mario VS. Computer Toad and Toadette, Toad and Toadette where rowing in perfect time while Mario was going super fast and I was going as fast as I could. This happened in most of the 2 VS. 2 Mini-Games no matter what Computer Partner I got. The maps are mostly new but have a hint of past Mario Party games. If you have a Wii, like to yell at your TV and Video Games, and have enjoyed other Mario Party games, you should get Mario Party 8. Mario Party 8 costs $50 at most locations and has bonus Mini-Games for your Miis to play.
